It seems to me that it can be redeemed only once per account, BUT !!!! A big BUT! NOWHERE in the product description is said, that this is for one time use at account!

I have watched over and over and there is no such thing. It is sold as pack and contains the 60 days, 1050 CC and the pet, but NOWHERE is said, that this pack can be used once per account. Amazon has similar package with 90 days and bonuses and it explicit says in the description that it can be used only once per account. Origin has to fix their * or give the people their money back, since everyone would get it because it is a nice package and try to use it more than once.

It is definitely wrong description and that is Origin's fault. They should put in the description that this package can be used only once per account as Amazon does for...

What exactly is a code?

A code is an alphanumeric string that is printed on a paper card. These codes can be redeemed in the League of Legends Store to acquire awesome content. This content is sometimes only available through code card redemption.

How and where can I get a code?

Visit us at an event, such as PAX (Prime, East, and Australia), C2E2, Anime Expo, Gamescom, Dreamhack and others like it. Keep an eye out on the news, as we usually announce which events we are attending in advance. You might be able to pick something up at our LCS studio or World Championship as well!

Note: We do our best to give out codes to everyone who visits our booth at an event, but it is not always possible for various reasons. We cannot provide event codes after the event is over, so make sure to come early and grab your swag, or you will risk missing out!

Sometimes, we will also partner with other companies to include League of Legends codes with...

I'll try my best to get to as much of those with issues as I can, but please make your own topic to avoid confusion. It makes things alot easier for those helping and also avoids hijacking the OP's issue.

I tried to Redeem My copy and it say already redeemed and there is no record of purchase under my store account . Microsoft will probably be of no help because millions of people have the same problem . Majority of people wont even take the time to enquire , others will spend the 12 bucks . I did notice Firefox doesn't work with the store and the store site kept on crashing . If you didn't get you free copy , Kiss the Free offer good bye . No one at Microsoft's going to take the time to fix it .Price just went from 9.99 to 11.99 . I have to laugh There is no cents in Canada anymore . Every purchase gets rounded . So its really 10.00 has been raised to 12 .00 .It must be to pay for all the people calling in to complain

Just a reminder to all those that love app promo codes. Some simple instructions for downloading the creative, fun, educational and life changing apps!

Thanks to all the wonderful bloggers and websites that spend countless hours supporting these developers that provide app code give-aways and reviews of apps. It takes much time and energy for these sites and pages to organize promotional events where fans can win or grab codes. Time connecting with developers to receive codes, time to review and get to know the apps they are giving away, creating raffle-copters, time spent on emailing and messaging winners with codes and all of the other “behind the scene tasks.”

Take note of the Code Redeeming Etiquette below:

REDEEM the code (they have expiration dates)

If you are given a code for an app that you already have, immediately notify the sender to redistribute it

Always acknowledge and thank the developer – this can usually be done...

Yesterday, the bitcoin exchange MtGox – riddled by problems – issued a press release saying the bitcoin protocol was to blame for its ongoing problems. That statement, which caused the markets to nosedive temporarily, is outright false. The problem is, and was, bad code hygiene in the MtGox exchange itself. Here are the details.

Yesterday, when MtGox blamed “transaction malleability” as the cause of MtGox’ problems, implying that the problems at MtGox affected all exchanges and everything bitcoin, that was a sign of a very elastic relationship with facts. It’s true that transaction malleability was a factor, but not nearly in the way that MtGox implied. (We’ll be returning to what the “malleability” is.)

Here’s the real problem: MtGox is running its own homebuilt bitcoin software, and has not cared to update and upgrade that software along with the developments of the bitcoin protocol. Recently, after a very long grace period, the bitcoin protocol tightened slightly...

Just for kicks, I decided to write a tradebot the other day, and thought it might be interesting for others to see just how simple it is to get a basic bot going. As a quick disclaimer, the bot that we end up with is the bot that I am running right now, but it probably cause you to lose all of your money. I am assuming that you have git installed, a working python installation, and a reasonably well funded mtgox account.

step 1 : download a good trading API

git clone https://github.com/viorels/mtgox-trader.git

This code is dead simple to use, and makes writing your bot take no time at all, so you can focus more on trading strategies rather than worrying about your POST variables getting to mtgox alright.

step 2 : move defaultsettings.py to settings.py and fill in credentials

step 3 : test out a hello world app

Create a file like hellomtgox.py, and put in these 4 lines of code

from settings import *
balance =...

The code is effectively just a long random string. When you create a redeemable code, a random string is selected, entered into the database at the exchange and associated with a currency and an amount. That string is your redeemable code. The string is long enough to make it very unlikely that anyone would be able to guess it in a reasonable length of time.

The first person to attempt to redeem the code gets the amount credited to their account on the exchange, which causes the database entry on the exchange for that code to be marked as having been redeemed.

The way to tell whether a code is valid is to try redeeming it. If it works, you're the first to try it. If not, you're either not the first to try using it, or it was never a valid code to start with.

The exchange should prevent "double-spending" by making sure that the "look up whether code is spent; credit account; make code as spent" sequence is an atomic operation. We don't want two users both...

A financial instrument whose value is accessible by redeeming the code.

Redeemable codes are generally considered "bearer" instruments such that whichever party is first to redeem the code becomes the owner of those funds.

Some bitcoin exchanges offer redeemable codes as a method that allows funds to be transferred from one user to another. These codes might be denominated in bitcoins (BTCs) or they may be denominated in a government currency, such as USDs.

The term Redeemable code was first introduced to the bitcoin community by MtGox but the concept had been in use previously under a variety of terms. MoneyPak, for instance, refers to the code underneath a scratch-off protective layer as the "MoneyPak Number". Other terms that may refer to the same concept are recharge codes, scratch codes, single-use vouchers, etc.

The vendor of a redeemable code will have terms for how the code is used. Funds redeemed using MoneyPaks, for instance, might not be...

If your prepaid code isn’t working, or if you see an error message or error code when you try to redeem it, try the solutions on this page.

Important Prepaid codes cannot be used or activated if your Microsoft account is suspended or has a balance due. You must resolve all unpaid balances and account suspensions before you can use the prepaid code. To do so, see the following pages:

Error messages with an error code

If you receive an error message with an error code when you’re redeeming a prepaid code, use the Error & status code search page to find a solution for your specific error code.

Because error messages can be generated by service outages, check the Xbox Live service status for alerts before searching for your error code.

If you see any alerts here, wait until the service is up and running and try again:

If you receive an error message without an error code when trying to redeem a...

[Update below]

Watching the drama surround MtGox in recent days has been like watching a slow motion train wreck. It’s put a lot of strain on the community and has been causing the Bitcoin price to tank. If you’re not up to date on this story, basically MtGox has been experiencing severe Bitcoin withdraw issues with numerous customers claiming they never received their bitcoins. Apparently upwards of $38 million worth of bitcoin withdrawals have gone unfulfilled causing MtGox to freeze withdrawals altogether.

You can add this to the long list of problems MtGox has had over the last couple years. A trading platform that couldn’t handle high volume trades, operating without a license in the US and having a large amount of customer funds stolen by the US government, USD withdrawals taking months to clear, and strong suspicion it’s operating on fractional reserves.

Now this morning MtGox comes out and announces its problems aren’t its fault, but rather a bug in...
